Diagnostics and Physiotherapy Examination
We place emphasis on a comprehensive, individual approach to patient care. Our physicians and physiotherapists carry out a detailed assessment of every patient's condition and draw up a care plan aimed at treating the source or cause of the physical dysfunction.
Comprehensive rehabilitation examination of the musculoskeletal system is carried out by our physician, MUDr. Natália Porubcová, who specializes in physiatry, balneology and medical rehabilitation (FBLR). Based on a professional examination, she determines the diagnosis and proposes an individual physiotherapy treatment plan.

We offer you a comprehensive professional examination of the musculoskeletal system with a diagnosis and a short-term as well as long-term treatment plan.
The physiotherapy process includes:
Targeted diagnostics (kinesiological assessment)
For movement diagnostics, physiotherapy uses special kinesiological procedures and tests to evaluate movement patterns. The diagnostic process leads to a therapeutic plan.
Treatment (therapy)
Physiotherapy uses non-invasive treatment methods of a physical nature. Above all this means movement — one of the fundamental attributes of health — which affects the body's other functions, including mental ones. It also includes touch, gravity, heat, cold, pressure and buoyancy forces, light energy, and electric and magnetic fields.
It is ideal if an experienced physiotherapist helps with rehabilitation after surgery. At our Physio&Care Centre we offer patients complete post-operative rehabilitation with an experienced physiotherapist.
What exercises are suitable after knee surgery?
At the start of physiotherapy and rehabilitation after surgery, it is ideal to gradually move the knee into full extension and then release it. Strengthening exercises after surgery should involve relatively light loads with more repetitions. It is ideal if an experienced physiotherapist helps with the rehabilitation. At our Physio&Care Rehabilitation Centre we offer patients complete post-operative rehabilitation after knee surgery or surgery on any other part of the body.
Comprehensive rehabilitation examination
A physiotherapist performs a comprehensive examination of your musculoskeletal system that reveals the causes of your difficulties. The examination includes a complete medical history — a conversation with the patient describing their health complaints. The history plays an irreplaceable role in determining the correct diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is established, a therapeutic plan is drawn up along with the related procedures. We approach every client individually, aiming to ease, treat and ultimately resolve their difficulties. We'll help you feel better.
Consultation with a physiotherapist
Physiotherapy, as part of rehabilitation, deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. The first consultation with a physiotherapist includes taking a history — a conversation in which the patient describes their health complaints in their own words. The physiotherapist performs several movement tests to determine the extent of the patient's musculoskeletal disorder. Taking the patient's individual needs into account, they recommend the most suitable techniques for resolving the problem.
We can also help you with rehabilitation, for example:
- after meniscus surgery
- after knee surgery
- after lumbar spine surgery
- after hip joint surgery
- after bunion surgery
- after herniated disc surgery
- after shoulder surgery
- after disc surgery
- after cervical spine surgery
- and others
With the help of a physiotherapist and other specialists you'll get various exercises that strengthen your muscles and help you improve the way you move the part of the body where you had surgery.
Why you need rehabilitation
It can speed up your recovery regardless of what type of surgery you underwent, whether it's joint replacement, heart surgery or knee surgery.
Diagnostics and individual examination take place with a university-educated physiotherapist. Diagnostics and recommendations from the physiotherapist follow an individual programme in the therapy room.
