The controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country (a country outside the EU) or to an international organization.

To protect your personal data, we have implemented appropriate technical, security and organizational measures in accordance with the requirements of applicable legislation. All your personal data in electronic form is stored on secured data servers.

How long we retain your personal data

We retain your personal data for the period necessary to exercise the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between us and to assert claims arising from that relationship.

Personal data whose retention is necessary to fulfil our obligations under statutory regulations must be retained for the period set by the relevant legislation, regardless of any consent you have given. For tax and accounting records, this period is generally 10 years.

For marketing activities or other cases where you have given us your consent, we retain your data until your consent is withdrawn.

Access to data

You have the right to ask us for an overview of the data we process about you, for what purpose, to whom we provide it, and for how long we will retain it, via email at info@physioandcare.sk.

Right to erasure of personal data

You have the right to ask us to erase the personal data we process, provided the following conditions are met, and this does not affect data we are legally required to retain (e.g. invoices):

  • the personal data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected and processed
  • you withdraw the consent on the basis of which the personal data was processed, and there is no other legal basis for processing
  • the personal data was processed unlawfully
  • erasure is required to fulfil an obligation under law, a special regulation or an international treaty
  • it concerns the personal data of a person under 16 years of age

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data in the following cases:

  • you contest the accuracy of the personal data, for the period until its accuracy is verified
  • the processing of your personal data is unlawful
  • we no longer need your personal data for the purpose of processing, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend your legal claims
  • you have objected to the processing of your personal data as described above

Right to object

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for reasons relating to your particular situation, where the processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest, including profiling based on these provisions. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

Right to lodge a complaint
